Boinking Howard Chan & Boofing For Your Health: COT4
Friday Apr 26, 2024
Friday Apr 26, 2024
In this weeks episode the gang explores the hot new trend of boinking...and explains the benefits of boofing.
We then give a warm welcome to our guests, Joyce & Sharon, founders of Camp Resolution, & Dr. Flo Cofer, Sacramento Mayoral Candidate & Public Health Professional.
We spend the hour getting to know the robust insides of Camp Resolution & unpack the problematic decision, by Sacramento City Management, to demand that camp close.
We knew this would be a powerful episode & are so grateful for our guests time & energy; especially as they face a life threatening planned city sweep.
In the end, we go over ways to help the community at Camp Resolution. Since the recording of the show we have secured the motorized wheelchair requested for Betty.
We appreciate you stuffing us in your earholes. & don't forget, fuck Lisa Kaplan, the police, Howard Chan & all campus law enforcement. May you all be boinked.
That's the tea,
Shannon, Gabriel & PJ

Steinberg's (Sweet) Senioritis: COT3
Friday Apr 05, 2024
Friday Apr 05, 2024
In this weeks episode the gang spends the first 20 whole minutes shitting upon an epic AirBnB experience for the books.
We then jump into the landmark sanctuary city resolution which passed unanimously. This, the first in the state, was crafted by residents with lived experience & District 4 incumbent Councilmember Katie Valenzuela.
We then highlight exactly why a resolution like this is so important by calling Placer County what it is, transphobic. Pastor Casey Tinnin is devoted to created safe spaces, especially in communities that lack them. The Landing Spot, Pastor Casey's 501c3, has offered a safe place to be, talk & think for so many in desperate need of it.
We also gag at Howard & how much of his budget goes to homeless programs, & love to see Darrell ready to spend his wings in these last senioritis filled months of being Mayor of Sacramento.
It's a time worth an hour in your ear holes. & don't forget, fuck Lisa Kaplan, the police & even Howard Chan.
That's the tea,
Shannon, Gabriel & PJ

It's Giving Tumblr: COT2
Thursday Mar 21, 2024
Thursday Mar 21, 2024
In this weeks episode you'll find fully & freshly steeped takes on all the local political tea.
We discuss the new & magnificent trash that is Vice Mayor Caity Maple's new blog.
We talk about how Mayor Darrell Steinberg, the same guy who said he wouldn't support a ceasefire resolution supported by 2 Councilmembers, has apparently been working behind the scenes (for many weeks) on his own version of a ceasefire resolution. The March 19 City Council meeting where this item was heard went swimmingly, as you may have imagined; 12 people were arrested for refusing to leave chambers during a point of order recess.
In better news, we talk about how Dr. Flo, mayoral candidate extraordinaire, is leaving a bunch of establishment Dems in the dust. We also hold on to hope for the District 4 incumbent, Katie Valenzuela.
It's a wildly fun time, get us in your ear holes. Oh & fuck Lisa Kaplan, as well as the police.
Later,
Shannon, Gabriel & PJ

Friday Mar 08, 2024
The captains of fun & fuckery get together in this, the first episode of the highly anticipated podcast, City of Tea, to steep in the unfiltered water that is Sacramento's primary election.
It's an episode that slaps your mystical 4th hole with nearly 2 hours of content wherein we dive into the 4 mayoral candidates (20:00), Prop 1 (1:10:00), Measure C (1:18:00), Barbara Lee (1:20:00), and City Council Districts (1:28:00).
We are still learning, & growing, & figuring out how we will do this thing but we're excited that you're here for the first steep!
We'd love for you to follow us on all the socials & we'd love you more if you'd support us on Patreon because starting a podcast costs dollar bills. This pod is a community resource & we'd love it to be community supported.
Ok, until next time, enjoy!
