Hello, is it vegetables & community you're looking for?: COT 11
In a time when scarcity is the framework those in power want us to hang on to, NorCal Resist is showing Sacramento that people care & provide for people. Our guest today is Kelsey Brewer, one of the founding farmers over at NorCal Resist's Seeds of Solidarity Mutual Aid Farm.
We are going to talk about the beauty & blisters of working the land to provide for community. This includes giving back to the land, entering into the tension around land-use, ensuring that the harvest is culturally appropriate, & the incredible community that comes from getting your hands dirty.
We also briefly touch on the cooling centers & water distro that is being offered by Sacrament's raddest.
It's a conversation about how each person giving based on their ability can provide for each person based on their needs.
